The TC’s own News Editor J.P. Crumrine and Staff Reporter Marshall Smith have their own blogs on local news and tidbits they find interesting in the course of news gathering, etc.

Our weekly news meetings are public and we often have as many as 10 people there. This blog is a chance for you to participate virtually, posting your ideas for news stories. Check there often (see topics at right) for interesting insights about our community.

More blogs are being added all the time.

If you or your local community service organization wants its own free blog site to share with everybody, let us know.

We’re also going to have a place for anybody to post their photos and videos of Idyllwild.

RULES OF THE BLOGS
Though we’re all for free speech at the Town Crier, we want this to be a successful, good experience for as many people as possible. It can only be with rules of conduct that help keep the atmosphere respectful. Anyone using the blogs, either as a blogger or one who comments, must agree to the Terms of Service. They’re long, but they’re important. Anyone who feels someone has violated these terms has the opportunity to report that. Violators may be removed permanently.
