While there will be no work this weekend, construction will continue for the remainder of the 60-day contract. Much of the guardrail replacement has been completed, according to Estrada.

The construction to repair the damaged guardrails and road signs began Friday, Nov. 3. Caltrans is replacing 8,000 feet of guardrail, 80 damaged drains, 372 roadside markers, 32 guide and regulatory signs and a call box.
